Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of the Catholic talk show.

Today we've got another remote episode coming to you. Today we're going to be talking about

managing faith and

some of the fear during this crazy time that we're living in right now. Yeah, we're going to take a look at some of the prayers,

some of the scripture verses,

and some of the things that you could do to manage the fear and anxiety that you're most likely feeling during this pandemic.

We're also going to give you some examples and some tips on how to get the most out of attending Mass online as we are all forced to do right now. And then we're also

going to share some things that the church is doing for us right now in the way of

indulgences and special permissions that we are granted during this pandemic.

And I'm very grateful to God that Father Michael Nixon from the Diocese of Pensacola, Tallahassee,

one of my dearest friends and brothers from the seminary at St. Vincent-Paul Regional Seminary in the state of Florida is with us. Michael, welcome brother.

And I'd like to begin this episode with the scripture from Philippians, Chapter 4, verse 7.

Rejoice in the Lord always.

I shall say it again, rejoice.

Your kindness should be known to all.

The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all but in everything by prayer and petition with

Thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

I think this is very fitting as we enter into the fullness of this week beginning with Laitare Sunday,

considering that we are rejoicing.
