The Candid Frame. Today's guest is Jay Kinghorn, and Jay is an Olympus visionary photographer, as well as the co-author of Perfect Digital Photography, one of the better photo books that are out there.

And believe me, I've seen a lot of photo books.

I had a lot that passed over my desk many a time.

But this is one of the few books that I ever bothered to read cover to cover.

It's that good.

The images are great, but I felt that the text and the information was just a real pleasure

to read, and I always like picking up books, just to serve as a sort of a refresher course

for me.

But this book, I actually really took a lot of pleasure in reading, and it didn't take me

very long to get through the whole thing.

And I really recommend it to anyone out there who was always interested in finding a good book on photography.

But the reason I asked Jay to come on board is just because I think he's a great guy.

I love his approach to photography.
