Tony Di Zinno has worked in over 43 countries and on six different continents, this Los Angeles based photographer is as comfortable on Hollywood studio back lots as he is on the foothills of the Himalaya. Tony assisted a milieu of Hollywood's A-list of celebrity shooters before transitioning into the 'athlete meets aesthete' genre with the likes of Nike and Adidas.Tony's reputation was built as a specialist in niches as diverse as Adventure Racing in Patagonia to F1 cars in Monaco. When not on location, this former Men's Journal Adventure Team shooter spends time doting on his all-star baseball nephews and teaching at his old alma mater, the Art Center College of Design. It's January 28th, 2008, and this of The Candid Frame.

Today's guest is Tony Dazzino.

He's a photographer and a friend of mine that I originally met a couple of years ago

at the Jay Maisel workshop in Santa Fe.

And we crossed past again when I started teaching at the Art Center College of Design.

And from the conversations I've had with Tony and a couple of other photographers there,

I knew just by the sort of sympathetic nature of our conversations that he would be an ideal

guest for the show, and he doesn't disappoint.

My only lament about it is that this interview could probably have gone on for two hours

because as soon as the recorder was off, there was just some fantastic conversation that I wish could have got it in this podcast,

but after about 40 minutes, I knew I had to cut it off at some point. So more than likely,
