We're almost ending another year.

And I'm really grateful to all of you who've been following me over the last five and a half years.

It's been an amazing adventure in terms of not only producing the show, but having an opportunity

to meet so many wonderful photographers and to have conversations with them and share them with you.

It's really a big, probably the largest, most gratifying aspect of my life today.

I do a lot of things that keep me busy, but producing this show has certainly been

one of the best things that I've done over the last five years.

And I'm really grateful for all the support

that so many of you have provided the show.

And it's opportunities like today that are really exciting because today I get to interview

two friends of mine, Susan and Neil Silverman.

They're a husband and wife photography couple that live up in the Bay Area who I've known for about as many years as I've been producing the show.

And this is the first time I've had a chance to sit down, have a conversation with them, and record it.

I've always enjoyed my time with Neil and Susan.

They are so generous in terms of just their hospitality, their warmth, their openness,

but they're also very amazing photographers.

And despite the fact that they're married to each other and they spend a lot of time shooting

together, you would think that their styles and the looks of their images are very similar,

but each has a very distinctive approach.

Though you can't go to their websites and identify which one was shot by Susan and which was shot by Neil,

sitting down and talking to them really reveals the unique sensibility that each brings
