Welcome to the Candid Frame.

It's been an interesting couple of weeks.

First off, I want to thank everyone who sent a real kind message to me regarding the last

episode in which I discussed my own personal work.

It was very nice to get that kind of feedback.

The show was originally intended just as a filler because it was the technical problems I had with the last couple of interviews.

But the response that I got

was very encouraging. It was great to hear that something that I just felt was just that I was

just doing in passing resonated with so many listeners out there. So thank you very much for all the kind comments. I'm not going to do

that very often. I may do it every once in a while, but I want to stick to doing interviews

of other photographers because I feel that everyone out there has something very interesting

to say, and oftentimes I just don't have

a form in which to say it and that's one of the reasons I created the show.

So just got back from Redmond Washington where I was participating in the Better Photo

Photographic Summit.

I teach a couple of photographic courses to BetterFoto.com.

And this was sort of a combination of a business meeting

where a good number of the photographers that teach up there got together

and we discussed the past and the future of Better Photo.

But also there was a two-day seminar in which a lot of the photographers made presentations on different aspects of photography.

There was a lot of how-toes and it was just a great two days.
