It's August 26th, 2006, and this of The Candid Frame,

and I want to send a special welcome to all the new subscribers

who have found this largely as a result of the Photocast Network.

And for those of you who don't know, the Candid Frame is now part of the Photocast Network, which is a collection of photo-related podcasts,

basically a one-stop destination for anyone who's interested in photography

and likes listening and watching content about photography via podcast.

If you go to photocastnetwork.com, you'll find links to not only this show, but several other shows,

including tips from the top floor, photo walkthrough, light source, two-minute Photoshop tricks,

the simple photo minute, the Radiant Vista, and Martin Bailey.com.

If you've been listening to the podcast for a week or over a year, you know how difficult

it can be to find content, particularly quality content.

And in respect to photography, what's been done is that we've brought together really

the best shows out there that exist on the topic of photography and basically created a

sort of web ring for podcasting in which you can check out one or all of these different shows.

I think you'll find that if you listen to a couple of episodes on each show that like me,

you'll become subscribers to each and every one of these shows.

I'm sort of insatiable in terms of my desire to learn more and more about photography,

and I think this is going to prove a great resource for not only me, but for everyone else out there.
