My beloved brothers and sisters, the call that we just heard moments ago

has in it certain phrases that are the most repeated on earth on a daily basis.

I want you to pause for a moment

and think of how many billion times

the phrase,

Allahu Akbar, is repeated on earth on a daily basis.

Have you ever thought of it?

The call to prayer five times a day.

The preparedness for the beginning of the congregational prayer again repeated five times a day.

Every single movement in the prayer or maybe nearly every movement in the prayer is done by the phrase Allaho Akbar, including the commencement of your prayer. And if a billion people

are praying five daily prayers a day, can you imagine how many

times Allah, Aqabbar, is repeated every single day? I do not believe there is a phrase

repeated more than Allah al-Aqabbar or even close to Allahu Akbar on earth on a daily basis

for Allahu Akbar Kabira.

Subhan Allah.

Have you thought of it?

Allah is the greatest.

That's how we translate it in English.

But if you were to look at the proper meaning of it, it's actually superlative.

Allaha Akbar would mean Allah is greater.

...
