hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World.

There's a lot of sports drama, and it doesn't really have to do with the Knicks and Pacers, although I think there are a lot of people in both cities who are happy to see that rivalry reignited.

But the most dramatic rivalry in sports, especially in basketball, is that between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.

And, you know, we thought when these two phenomenal athletes graduated from college that that might be it. But boy, have the WNBA

gods smiled on sports fans. And the Caitlin Clark effect continues to rock the league, which is

very exciting. You know, and if you only sort of beam in every once in a while for WNBA news,

there's never a shortage of drama. And Caitlin Clark is such an amazing player, but she's also

a lightning rod because she's so competitive, she's so physical, and she happens to be incredibly high profile

and interesting. And, you know, young girls who are playing basketball for the first time,

that may be the only player they know in the league. And I don't think that's a bad thing.

But there are a lot of other jelly beans who play against her in the WNBA, who were probably

really jealous of her talent.

And whenever that happens, athletes, men, women, whatever sport, they're like crabs in a pot,

and they just want to pull the superstar down.

It doesn't look like it's going to happen, but Caitlin Clark is injured right now.

But I want to talk about

some of the drama surrounding the WNBA with Bonnie Jill Laughlin. She was the first and only

female NBA scout. And she's a bestselling author and also does a lot of phenomenal work with

veterans, which I think is wonderful and amazing.
