Hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World.

So I was talking a little bit yesterday about the trip I just had to Poland, which was hosted by a group called the Maccabee Foundation.

And Guy Benson had been to Israel with them last year.

And he reached out and asked if I would be interested and going on a trip with some other journalists

who also happened to be friends to Poland to Holocaust sites.

And I knew it was going to be heavy.

It sounded daunting and emotional, but it was something that I really, really wanted to do.

Not only as someone who enjoys learning about history, but also as someone who happens to be a

first generation American, my family left Romania after the

war when the Soviets had occupied so much of Eastern Europe and took so much from so many people.

And so I was curious about being in that part of the world and learning about people who were

not displaced and who were not displaced and

who were not able to flee to America, but people who were targeted and exterminated.

And I soon learned once we got there how systematic the evil murderous systems had become and how effective they were at targeting, rounding up, and killing Jews.

And, you know, I've always been very curious how people could insinuate that the Holocaust wasn't real.
