horrifying case out of Canada and it's actually been fairly surreal writing and recording

this episode as news broke this evening of the leaked

draft document written by Justice Samuel Alito from the United States Supreme Court.

If you guys have been following this breaking news, it's absolutely terrifying,

but it does suggest that the Supreme Court will vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

If you're not familiar for some reason or our international

listeners, Roe v. Wade is the landmark case in our country

that made abortion legal nationwide.

And by abortion, I mean women's health care. This is

absolutely devastating news. It's not news that I think many of us really

anticipated. And it's kind of surreal recording this episode as this news broke.

The episode tonight is going to be about the Butterboxed Babies out of Canada.

And this is a case that I wasn't familiar with until I ran across it somewhat recently,

and it's just been stuck in my psyche. It's one of those cases that's just so disturbing,

so horrible, couldn't shake it, had to talk about it.
