1:01.3	August of 2017. Mr. Jim Shields invites me to his house. There's a couple of jabronies there,
1:09.2	and in walks Chris Funk.
1:11.6	And Chris Funk is a different kind of guy.
1:14.5	I knew he was smart, but I didn't appreciate his intelligence until a few years later.
1:20.2	Chris is starting to talk about this bill to rent.
1:22.6	And I'm like, built a rent, single family homes.
1:25.1	I'm a multifamily guy.
1:26.2	I want these apartment complexes. I mean, I'm at 500 units with Jake. I'm a multifamily guy. I want these apartment complexes.

1:29.6	I didn't really explode yet.
1:31.1	I was singularly focused.
1:33.1	And when I look back and I think about that encounter early on, I was an idiot.
