Yeah, we've heard of couples sending Save the Date cards to their weddings, but have you ever heard of a couple sending,

you are not invited cards to family and friends when it comes to their wedding.

What?

Yeah.

This must be a new concept, the don't save the date card.

That apparently a couple did and somebody who got invited to the wedding shared it on a

Reddit thread called Wedding Shaming which I guess is really popular and

People magazine reported on it and the family member who posted this on the

Reddit thread is a cousin and shared the reaction.

They said, I just found out that the wedding couple are sending cards to people that are not invited,

that they're getting married soon and quote you are in our hearts on this

special day before the wedding their excuse is for the sake of curiosity and

thinking of them.

But what I don't understand is why would you send this before the wedding?

It makes more sense after and sending it out to them.

I got a text from the couple that everyone also has a role to set up.

Once the ceremony is done, the wedding party will take photos while the guests set up the

tables at the reception. I was like, what? They never asked if people are willing to do that as if they just dictated people what to do.

They said that financially they can't hire people to set up but they had almost two years to save and they spent all those years traveling

instead of saving for the wedding. Also at the bridal shower the soon-to-be bride

wanted to invite her friends to the bridal shower. However, some of those friends are not invited to the
