we've actually been uploading our reviews of certain shows like the boys a little bit earlier

for our patrons yeah the boys season five episode seven so this was an episode i think coming off of 6 because of Homelander getting the V1. We wanted to see what that would entail. Is he going to have new powers? You even mentioned, what if he's actually Superman? And that got me thinking, yeah, that would be pretty cool. You know, nobody can even, prior to the V1, nobody could step to him.

But we didn't really see that.

Maybe they're saving that for the finale.

I felt like this episode, especially its placement, being the Penn Ultimate episode, not just

of the season, but of the entire show.

It's not necessarily a bad episode, but it's one of those episodes where you're watching it and thinking, man, there's no way I'm going to be left satisfied by this finale, unless it's like two hours long and just the greatest series finale of all time.

Well, I think it's currently rated the worst episode on IMDB of the whole series.

I don't know if it's the worst episode, but like in the context of it

being the second to last episode ever, I can see why a lot of people are left disappointed. Like

you said, there's just such a great opportunity. I mean, the first shot we do see of Homeland or post V1

is him in the Oval Office, which is cool, but I wish we could have seen a little bit more of

him after that moment and see, like, it doesn't seem like he changed much, you know? Yeah, he's got

the V1 so he can live forever and that's really it. He's just the same old homelander. There was really

no change to him because you could even say, all, he killed the president and killing, well, incapacitating soldier boy. But he's been moving like that for a while now, you know? I guess even like the radiation French you put him in still had a negative effect. I don't know if he handled it a little bit better, but it just seemed like, yeah, he's just the same old homelander with who's now immortal, which is fine, I guess, but like, I don't know, the whole path to get the V1 and it's kind's just the same old homelander with who's now immortal which is fine i guess but

bit of a change whether that be his power scaling or the way he's acting but it's kind of just more

the same with homelander yeah i i think it's um the story of this season is going to be that the, the boys, the characters

inside of the boys, led by Butcher and Huey, just have really nothing to do. They're just chasing
