So Robbie, we just released our fifth and sixth installment of our Media Roots psychedelic series ongoing.

I think we still maybe have one or perhaps two left in the chamber.

We're going to bust those out ASAP, but the last

two episodes were about the Shulguns, Anne and Sasha Shulgin. After we released those episodes,

Robbie, we just got the tragic news that Anne Shulgin had passed away at 91 years old.

Just an incredible visionary, an extremely fascinating and important figure in this movement.

And amazingly enough, Robbie, you had just gone to the Shulgin's farm or house for one of the last,

if not the last barbecue ever. Talk about how that happened. Well, yeah, the person that I

referred to in the podcast of how I originally got um introduced to some of

these people got invited to the Shulgin's place in the first place um I reconnected with them

after the podcast came out they listened to it um and they just incidentally they were like the you know possibly the

very last barbecue the very last event at the schulgun's place is happening in a couple of days you

should come and meet me there um and i didn't know if i was going to be able to go because i had

something already going on on Monday.

It was a Fourth of July barbecue, but I decided to sort of move some stuff around and go

because, you know, mostly just to meet my friend because I hadn't seen him in such a long time.

And I didn't realize that Anne, you know, must have been in such a state

where she wasn't, she didn't make an appearance at the party. I don't even know if she was actually

there. I'm assuming that she was, but I have no, I didn't really even ask anybody. So at the party itself,
