This is Robbie Martin. Welcome to Media Roots Radio. How's everybody doing today? How's everybody feeling out there? We ended the last

episode kind of quickly trying to wrap up about the boys TV show. We are going to talk a lot

more about Roe versus Wade, the overturning of it on this episode.

But right before we started recording, Abby, we were talking about how even shows like

the boys, even though we like them, it feels like they are generally designed to stretch

things out indefinitely to the point where even when you think consequential things are going to happen on the show,

major characters being killed or anything major happening, it always seems to kind of get

resolved to the point where it doesn't fundamentally change anything too much so that the next

season can happen, essentially on pretty much any show. You go to even a show like

Ozark, you know, that's even modeled after these shows like Breaking Bad, which had a definitive

ending. It feels kind of similar. It just keeps going and going. But I know one of my favorite

shows, and I think you probably already know this, is Better Call Saul,

not because I was, you know, I was a big fan of Breaking Bad, but I've actually grown to feel that

Better Call Saul is maybe even a better show than Breaking Bad, which I never would have thought I would

feel, you know, in the first season. It always seemed to me

like it was living in the shadow of it. But I almost find it more interesting and more rewatchable

than Breaking Bad was. Like I rewatched all of season five in preparation for season six, and I

loved it even more. Like, it's one of the only TV shows that I have been able to rewatch like that.

So, yeah, I know that you have it.
