Hello and welcome back to Cult Leader, I'm your Cult Leader Spencer Henry, and this week

we are covering the infamous family known as the Bloody Benders.

But it turns out this story is a whole lot cultier than I'd previously come to believe,

and a lot of what I learned during my research was simply mind blowing, because so much

of what I had previously learned turned out to either be false, or at the very least

heavily debatable.

So I'm excited to just get right into it, tell you what I now know.

I'm gonna first introduce the family, but something to note is that this story is often

told that there was this murderous family consisting of a mom, a dad, and their son and daughter.

However, that is not what I have come to learn, and not what I personally believe to be true.

But we are gonna introduce these four people to you right now.

We have John Paw Bender, he was between 50 and 60 years old at the time.

He was a German man, didn't speak a whole lot of English, sparsely built, and then we

have the mom, Almyra Maw Bender, who was married to John.
