January 23rd, Altamonte Springs, Florida.

What began as a tip to police ended in the disruption of a murder plot

at Lake Brantley High School, the target a fellow student. The alleged masterminds, two teenage

girls, 15-year-old Isabella Valdez, and 14-year-old Lois Lipper. According to investigators,

Valdez was obsessed with the Sandy Hook Massacre.

She allegedly targeted a classmate simply because he reminded her of the shooter Adam Lanza,

believing that killing him would create a blood bond with Lanza himself.

The plan was meticulous. Valdez allegedly packed a murder kit in her backpack, gloves,

trash bags, wipes, and a knife that Lippert reportedly helped her sharpen that very morning.

Valdez told police she'd been hearing voices for three months urging her to strike.

But perhaps the most disturbing part of this case

isn't just the plan, it's the aftermath. Dash cam footage from the patrol car shows the two

girls laughing and joking just minutes after their arrest. They worry about their mugshots.

They cheer about being sent to the same jail.

They even call the experience a great bonding moment.

What happens when teenage angst curdles into a deadly obsession?
