Hello my friends.

I would like to share with you some things that I've been thinking about, some things that have been on my mind.

Especially since the start of this year

when I was working with a fabulous speaking coach

to help me come up with my keynote. And when you work with a great coach, they often go deep with you,

you spend a lot of time together,

and they have to really understand your story

so that you can communicate your story

and that you have a really compelling way of sharing it by understanding why you come to your

current conclusions, why you are the way you are, why you think the way you think, why your speech is your

exact speech.

And spending time with this lovely coach of mine,

we were talking about my family history.

And those of you who've read my books or followed me for a while know that my family history was quite chaotic, right? We lived in shelters, I grew up on welfare, we moved around a lot because of the different violence, craziness in my family,

and it's interesting because we went even deeper than just my parents in one of our conversations.

And I shared with my coach a lot about my mom's background

because you know our background shapes us there's a story there and I

shared with her that you know my mom was born in Nazi occupied Poland 1942 she had no running by Poland, 1942.

She had no running water, no electricity.

Her parents didn't properly supervise her.

And when she was young, she was messing around on their small stove,
