Look, wouldn't me please in Genesis the third chapter. Genesis chapter three, we began with

this last Friday, a new series that we are calling the blame game, the blame game. And don't assume you know this, don't assume it doesn't

apply to you. This applies to everybody. And it is an answer to many, many issues and

questions and things.

In the third chapter of Genesis, after God had created Adam and Eve and the garden and

animals and everything, the enemy came influencing the serpent and challenged and questioned.

And verse one, he said to them in the literal Young's translation, it says it like this,

is it true that God has said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden. That's how the enemy starts by challenging

and questioning the veracity of God's word. He does that because that is the foundation of our faith.

If you question the veracity of God's word, you no longer have a firm foundation.

You no longer have a way to stand and fight the good fight of faith and be an

overcomer.

Well, he went on to, when the woman answered, he said, well, you won't surely die.

And verse six, the woman took of the fruit and ate it and gave to her husband, and the eyes of them both were open, and they knew they were naked.

Now, I want you to notice two things right here in verse 7.

They sowed fig leaves together to make themselves aprons or things to gird about them.

And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Now I want you to notice in verse 7, immediately upon sinning and failing, they did two things.

They tried to cover and they tried to hide.

They tried to cover and they tried to hide.

In verse 9, the Lord called him and said, Adam, where are you?

He said, I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself.
