Summary
In the spring of that year, journalist Brian Bethel experienced something that would spark one of the internet’s most enduring urban legends. After sharing his story online, others began coming forward with eerily similar accounts. Pale faces, monotone voices, completely black eyes, and an unsettling need for permission to enter.
In this episode, we explore the original encounter, the wave of reports that followed, and the disturbing lore surrounding what have come to be known as the Black Eyed Kids.
