Summary

In the city of Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, Edwin's uncle has a small ranch that has been haunted by a commonly-found object in the desert: rocks. At odd times, rocks can be heard striking the roofs of his neighbors without an explanation. But that's not all. Sightings of ghosts and other entities have started surfacing since the phenomenon started. Could they all be connected?

My family is from the desert, and they're very familiar with legends and stories from there,

especially Duendes, ghosts, indigenous tales of witchcraft, stuff that has existed in the region for generations. Plus had a history of dark events, including wars, even present-day disappearances.

But this story, this episode I'm about to share with you, is a little different.

And I started with a simple visit to see my family as I continue my journey to investigate the

stories that started it all. You see, rocks, single stones had been slamming against the metal

and plastic coverings of these sheds where my uncle and his neighbor's

Those single events ended up taking us deep into the night as we ask ourselves, what do

With witnesses coming up with eerie and sometimes surreal explanations that make us wonder what we're even doing there at those

hours. I was wiping off the sweat with a pannuelo, similar to the one that my Tata, my grandpa,

would carry in his pocket. But I just jumpstarted my aunt's small Pontiac in the heat of the desert sun that was parked right outside my uncle's ranch, where the other cars were.

It was then, when I heard someone calling me over.

It was El Rafa, my uncle's neighbor.

He was excited, asking if I was still doing paranormal stories because the rocks had gotten worse recently.
