One day, an 18-year-old high school student just weeks away from graduating, walked out the front door of his family's home, and never returned.

I had a hard story to tell, but it ends with the Southern Colorado family finally getting closure.

Joshua Maddox was 18 when he vanished in May of 2008.

It was the last time that Joshua Maddox was ever seen alive.

And we had most of the building down and we were going to tip over the chimney.

And when we did, the top of the chimney popped off and inside was the body of a man.

For years, his family held on to hope.

They imagined that he was out there somewhere miles and miles away,

living a life he'd one day come home to tell them all about.

But the entire time, Joshua was less than a mile away from his home.

Not what we wanted, obviously. We wanted him to come home, but at least now we can stop looking.

Seven years after he disappeared, his body was finally found. But instead of bringing answers, the discovery

only raised more questions. This is the extremely suspicious disappearance and death of
