A failed oil deal and a deadly plot that stretched across the country. Prosecutors say Sir Hot

Goumirkchu, a biotech tycoon, feared one man could destroy everything he had built. That man was

Gregory Davis. As tensions grew over millions of dollars and threats of legal action,

authorities say Gumerkchu turned to a close friend to help make the problem disappear.

That friend allegedly reached out to another man who then recruited a hitman. And in January of 2018,

investigators say that hitman posed as a U.S. Marshal, abducted Davis from his

Vermont home, and left his body in a snowbank. But according to prosecutors, the men involved

left behind a trail of evidence. Cell phone data, bank records, emails, purchase history,

and alleged lies to the FBI would help investigators unravel what they

described as a calculated murder-for-hire conspiracy. A case that would lead to multiple convictions

and a mandatory life sentence for the man that prosecutors say orchestrated it all. I'm Emily Campano,

who was Gregory Davis and how did investigators first

foremost, was a husband and father of six children with a seventh one on the way when he was
