And as of the time we're recording this, we will see if something happens between now and when this is released. But the Lakers are still in limbo regarding their 14th roster spot, which they've gone on to

communicate, you know, they're looking for a big man. And Rob Polinka had some interesting

quotes about dimensionalizing the position, Mike, which I think I took to mean somebody that

is not Jackson Hayes 2.0, but somebody who brings different skills to the table.

And so this is something that Yovon and David McMenneman both reported on through the framing of a stretch five, which I think there's a good chance that it means that.

But I just would point out that I don't think it necessarily means that, right?

Like, I think Hayes is kind of a sky above the rim, you know, athlete type of guy. And I think that,

for example, 2020 Dwight, right, like was more of a bruiser than that type. So I would just

kind of add to the table that having different dimensions at the five spot other than what Jackson

Hayes does doesn't necessarily mean three point shooting, but it certainly could. But that is

kind of the thing that is vexing us as Laker fans right now, Mike, is that five spot. So I wanted to

talk to you a bit about that today. That is a position that really the last few years, Darius wrote

it out in the text thread recently. It's been quite a journey of the big man at the five spot, and we haven't really
