But Flynn is sounding an alarm over a drive to call for a constitutional convention.

Sounds reasonable, until you learn who's behind it and the lasting damage it could do

no matter what happens in November.

Okay, so in Article 5 Convention, constitutional convention, on paper, sounds like an interesting idea

gives the people a chance to amend the Constitution, do things with it, maybe update it, bring it into the 21st

century to reflect the country that we are now.

And yet that's not what we're talking about here is it no it isn't it's actually

one of the biggest threats to our democracy that most people have never heard about.

And I hadn't heard about it until you and I talked and was like, wait, what?

The blue wave that everyone is anticipating in November could result in nothing.

That's right.

So one of the challenges is there are two ways that our founding fathers said you could amend the

Constitution. The first way under Article 5 is for Congress to develop an amendment

and send it out to states for ratification.

That is the way we have moved every amendment to our Constitution since our founding.
