My name is Taylor Rockwell, and we have got quite an episode of the big thing to get to this week.

Each Friday, we spend some time on the major story of the week that we haven't been able to discuss in detail.

This week, it is a doozy.

On Monday, the Premier League announced that after a four-year investigation, it had brought more than 100 charges, 105, to be specific, against Manchester City for a variety of alleged Misties dating back to the 2010-2011 season.

The majority deal with the manipulation of financial reports in order to skirt financial fair play rules, but a whole bunch of other stuff. Manchester City get hit with things. and suddenly the European Super League is back.

Why not?

Because this does seem to be all sort of rolled together

as clubs wanting to be able to spend what they want to spend, wanting to be able to report what

they want to report, and want to be left alone. Seems to be the case. It's just that they have

these pesky regulators in place. As Joe said, there's

going to be a lot of alleged and allegations and that sort of language because we don't necessarily

want the lawsuits to roll down. Man City, proving themselves quite litigious through this process,

it seems. To get to the sort of meat of the matter, I listened to Matt Slater of the

athletic break this down in a couple different places, and he sort of split those 105 charges
