So the indictments and pleas are coming fast and furious from Mueller who pelted dozens

more charges at Paul Manafort and his flunky Rick Gates yesterday.

This led Gates today to indicate he's going to plead guilty this afternoon or sometime

today and cooperate with the investigation meaning give up Manafort.

Trump's former campaign chairman or maybe even other members of the Trump campaign in

exchange for later punishment.

And you two insert quickly here that I believe now and will always believe that Paul Manafort

is the only figure in this whole thing who deserves a stayed serious multi-volume biography.

Only Manafort has the gravitas, the Machiavellian intelligence, the actual depravity, the oleogenous

charm and the bottomless greed to be a truly dark villain.

The rest of them are corny lightweights who both do terrible things but also disgrace the

name of villain.
