In this podcast, we’re going to talk about the health benefits of exercise that go beyond weight loss.
The amount of influence that exercise has on your weight is a lot smaller than you may think—at the very most, it’s only 15%. 85% has to do with what you eat and the frequency of your meals.
Benefits of exercise that don’t have anything to do with weight loss:
1. Prevents the loss of muscle mass
2. Builds antioxidant reserve
3. Stabilizes blood sugar
4. Increases oxygen (gives you energy)
5. Decreases stress
6. Enhances sleep
7. Increases flexibility
8. Strengthens the heart
9. Enhances cognitive function and mood
