another spectacular day as we wind down the 2025 edition of the Big Alta, the second edition

of the Big Alta.

An amazing day.

We've got the champions in the house before we get to them. A big hello to my co-hosts

here for the weekend. Paddy O'Leary, a finisher here today. Fourth place. What's the crack,

lads? How he's getting on? My legs are struggling right now. You had a great comeback. We're going to

hear your story later after we hear from the champions. to patty of course the great david lamb rock of the

free trail hat what's up david what's up just been drinking coffee cheering people on all morning

doing nothing yes and of course the yeah performances of the weekend potentially here obviously

there were a lot of great ones but on the couch here with us today, Andy Wacker from Boulder, Colorado

men's champion, Ruby Lundquist from Truckee, the women's champion in the 28K, two incredible races.

So maybe let's launch into it, Tony, with Andy's clip. So what we're going to do here is similar

to what we did yesterday. We're

experimenting with a new sort of coverage model where we're doing our shows while we watch

some highlights from the race. This is me running up towards Loma Alta, the first high point

on today's 28K course. Lo and behold, a charging Andy Wacker comes up already with a huge margin.

This is probably only five and a half miles into your race, Andy.

You had probably a three-minute gap at this point.

Maybe just tell the audience how things are feeling at this point,

walk him through the early miles.
