Also, fresh off a trip back to Del Rio and he's here to talk to us all about what he saw

and what he heard.

Now, so we actually have audio recordings that John took during his reporting trip to the border

to play for everyone.

We have two of them.

John, why don't you just start off though by telling us about the trip where you went,

why you went there, what you saw, and then we can queue up each recording.

Sure.

I went to Del Rio, Texas, which is a part of the border that became famous in September

for this encampment of about 15,000 Haitians that crossed from Acunia, which is the city

across from Del Rio in Mexico and crossed in a very short period of time overwhelming

border patrol agents and setting up an encampment underneath the international bridge in Del

Rio.

This sort of put Del Rio on the map as these shocking images came out of the sheer size

...
