And I am Paul Sheer and this is the podcast.

For each week we watch one film from the AFI's top 100 greatest films of all time list

to see if they are really as good as people say do they hold up and how have they influenced

the films we watch today.

And you know Amy, before we get into any of this stuff, let me remind everybody out there

if you're in LA this month on the 21st of the month, that's a Thursday we are doing an

Unspooled live. It's called La Paca lips. It's all movies where LA is basically a post-up

destroyed and that's partly to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Blade Runner.

It's Blade Runner Month. If you watch Blade Runner, it opens by saying it is November

2019 and it is basically, well you know, we're living in the hellscape.

We didn't want to do Blade Runner itself because we got to say that for a proper episode

so we're going to talk about Reepleman.
