And I am Paul Sheer and this is the podcast where each week

we watch one film from the AFI top 100 greatest films of all

time list, the 2007 edition to see if they really are as good

as people say. Do they hold up and how have they influenced

the films we watch today? Amy, this week we're going to be

talking about forest, gump, last week we talked about grapes of

wrath, but before you even get into grapes of wrath and kind of

recapping what people thought about it, I wanted to ask if you

saw an op-ed written by Martin Scorsese in this week's New

York Times about Marvel movies. Paul, we're not doing this

again. Okay, well, fair enough, fair enough. But last week we

talked about grapes of wrath and it really seemed to resonate

with a lot of our listeners, I think they found themselves like

we did kind of surprised at how, you know, topical this movie

felt and how alive it was. Yeah, a lot of people listening to

podcasts who watch grapes of wrath thought about how this film

could be so relevant still today, you know, like at Moop 2000,
