Summary

Pull up a chair and let’s talk. 🤍 In this cozy solo episode of Real Talk, I’m taking you with me as I close the door on 2025 and crack open 2026 with honesty, intentionality, and with a lot of heart! I’m sharing what I’m carrying forward (hello, momentum with margin), what I’m leaving behind (looking at you, hustle culture 👋), and how I’m thinking about joy, faith, purpose, and community in this next season. We’ll talk about choosing depth over noise, letting joy be a practice instead of just a personality, honoring the season you’re actually in, and why rushing, over-explaining, and all-or-nothing thinking are officially off the guest list. This episode is less about reinvention and more about refinement slow steps, real grace, and trusting that small, faithful choices add up over time. I’m also giving you a little sneak peek at what’s coming next: a fresh look and feel for the podcast, upcoming travel (including Kenya!!! 🤍), new speaking opportunities, and what’s stirring in my heart as I begin writing my second book. If you’re heading into 2026 craving more joy, more clarity, and a little permission to move at a human pace this one’s for you. Come sit with me! Hello, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Real Talk with Rachel Atry and I, oh my gosh,

0:06.6

I'm so excited. The team here at Real Talk is committed to helping you delight in life and find

0:13.3

joy right exactly where you are. And a lot of it, as we're just like starting to think about it,

0:18.6

it has a lot to do with our posture, context to our life, how we are choosing to show up, the decisions that we're making, the disciplines that we have.

0:26.2

And so I thought, let's talk about that.

0:29.6

Like, let's talk about what we are choosing to bring into this new year and we are choosing to leave behind in this old year.

0:36.8

Today, we're talking about what's coming to

0:38.6

26, what's being left behind in 2025, a personal preview. Okay, like not really necessarily

0:45.4

business related. It doesn't even have to do with real talk. This is just like, hey, what's up with

0:49.9

Rach? What has got downloaded to me that I'm like, oh yes, absolutely scrapping that, shredding it,

0:57.2

throwing it in the fire. And then what am I noticing? Has like really moved the needle,

1:02.4

removed friction, brought more intimacy with my family or with my relationship with the Lord.

1:07.5

And I am sharing all of it. Okay. So so we waste no time we're going to hop right in

1:12.9

here's what's coming with me into 2026 momentum with margin hello momentum so yes like we're gonna

1:21.3

we're gonna move we're gonna go forward I'm praying for that slingshot moment so a lot of times

1:27.2

we get pulled back in order to be let go and

1:29.5

find speed. I love momentum. When it comes to my health, my business, my relationships. However,

1:36.9

notice the second part, which is with margin. Okay, so no hustle, no burnout. I want real progress. That's still going to leave room for me to

1:46.8

breathe, laugh, rest, be present, have a Shabbat, like actually Sabbath well. And it's just so

1:55.1

interesting. Like when you actually do have the margin, I think you can notice the momentum more

1:59.0

and that way you feed the momentum more because

2:01.4

you're starving the beast inside of you that's like perform, do, hustle. Like you have to move or it's
