Hey, everyone. Welcome to a good football show. I am Matt Stroud. It is Thursday, August 12th. We have four weeks to go until the season opening kickoff and today we're going to be looking at some players that our crew has not been drafting a lot.

But we are afraid that overlooking them could be a big mistake. I'm joined by Pat Dirty, Pat Carrane and Kyle Dvorichick. And let me just say off the top here, guys, last week I went out of my way to praise Danny Carter for being here every Thursday throughout the summer, never missing an episode. I called him our rock. I told him I was proud of him. These aren't not things I throw around lightly. And then he responded. There are two things he never does. He says he never logs off and he never misses podcasts cut to seven days later. He is not here. This is unbelievable. I am floored speech.

One could argue to fireable offense. Well, I have an update on that front. So, you know, before the show today, I was telling you guys I didn't know if I'd be here on time. That's because I was finalizing Danny Severin's papers with. Finally, you know, I thought here's the deal. We thought we had it finally taken care of, but then right before the show, I got a text from his lawyers, you know, his fleet of Maryland corporate lawyers and shocker. It's not going through yet again. So he's he is not on the show today, but he will unfortunately be back. And that actually explains the blood.

Dripping from your mouth, too, which if you turn into if you tune into YouTube, I know like most people listen to this just audio, but if you actually tune in, you could see that the I was like a vicious fight to give you give Danny the seven papers. This is over the phone. And at some point, my eyes just started to bleed. I say, I say, I say, I got a family thing, quote, I'm sure that's real. But I got to make a real quick comment. By the way, most people are listening to this are going to hear this an audio, but in video form, Pat Karein, a man of class has taken Pat and allowed me to have Patrick.

Patrick on our display names. So he's going by Pat. I'm going with Patrick. Pat Karein is just a man of a complete class. I've gone by Pat my whole life. So I also go by I've wrestled most of the morning with how I'm going to handle the nomenclature with you, too. So I think we have our solution. Pat, Patrick Dardi will be Patrick and Pat Karein will be Pat. Don't call me Patrick. Call me Pat. Call Karein. Karein. That's fine. That's fine. I will respond.

When you say Pat, and I'm sorry for that in advance, but but that will work. We're working through it littered with traps. But we'll try to get through it. Let's get started. Again, these are, these are players that we for the most part have not been drafting. Are you wagon your finger on me, Pat?

I was wagging my finger, Kyle to four chick who had changed his display name to Pat. Oh, sorry to interrupt the intro.

I was in a trouble maker. These are players that we from the most part have not been drafting, but there is that nagging thought of I probably should be drafting that guy more.

So we're overlooking these guys for whatever reason. As we get started, I was thinking that if we made a poster for every episode of this podcast for starters, that would be an incredible waste of resources.

But secondly, one of the guys on the poster for this episode will be Robert Woods Pat Karein. I'm just call you Karein. That is the first guy on your list.

And I think it's a great starting point. So tell us why you've been missing out on Bob Woods and why you're concerned that might be a mistake.

The reason I keep missing out on him is because he's the most expensive of a tier where I like everyone else in the tier more, which is going to be a recipe for you feeling under exposed.

It's not that I have like a strong and so specifically, but he's going right there with guys like D a more Cooper Cup, who actually prefer to Robert Woods.

He goes, you know, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are in that tier, Tyler Lockett. So I just struggle to ever think that Robert Woods is my target.

But at the same time, I am interested in this Rams offense. I like what Matt Stafford can do for this offense.

Kind of betting on him to rejuvenate the offense in general. I am taking Tyler. I am taking Cooper Cup. I am taking flyers on Xavier Jones. I have Darryl Henderson.

I'm continuing to take him where it makes sense where you know, the tournament didn't start prior to the injury.

So I like basically all these pieces of the Rams offense, but yet I'm pretty underweight on Robert Woods.

The reason that I don't like him as much as the other guys in the tier, I feel like are justified. He's yards per outruns declined for three straight seasons last year.

He was at 1.6 yards per outrun that was as low as since 2015. He is 29 years old, so maybe not a great bet to turn around this trend.

But at the same time, last year, he had an ADOT of 6.7, which is the lowest of his career in his first two years with the Rams.
