So today I am going into the vault and I am finding some of the best clips from a 24-hour

clubhouse room that we ran this year.

It was an amazing experience to be part of, to host it, to admin it, and to grab friends

and peers from the industry into one room on the leading audio app and help hosts all

over the world. We had a lot of fun. We touched every single corner of the globe and

what I wanted to do is be able to put it together, find the best bits and put it into the daily

Boots podcast. So I hope you enjoy. The section is not more than 10 minutes but it's going

to feature a part of the 24-hour room that resonated the most with me. So thank you for

tuning in and I will be back tomorrow with another podcast episode. Right now though, let's

jump into that clubhouse room. What's the one thing that your mother or father or

guardian or grandparents taught you that has shaped your life or just completely changed

your life? So the lessons that you learned from your parents or your guardians or your grandparents

when you were growing up that has just completely changed your life, Richard, if you could

be so kind to start that off, that would be fantastic.

Yeah, that's a really good question and as you get older, which I am slowly, it's something

you reflect on more interestingly. So I can pick three things I think actually. My grandfather,

who was a First World War veteran of the trenches and passion Dale and all that nastiness,

his was always, don't complain son, there's always somebody worse off than you and don't ever drink

a beer out of a dimple glass, it's always got to be a straight glass. So that's my grandfather.

My mother, my mother was a very independent person who worked her entire life very hard. I think

for very little at the end of it and she taught me independence, I think, and the capacity to
