this is Risk the show where people tell true stories they never thought they dare to share.

I'm Kevin Allison this is thego-go's behind me now. And this week it's the best

of vacation stories because you might very well be on vacation right now and by the time you're hearing this I will be too.

It's unusual for us to do an episode of rerun stories on a Tuesday, but we'll be doing two such episodes during July

to say we could use a little vacation is the understatement of the century. little bit you're going to hear about my trip to Thailand a few years.

In a little bit you're going to hear about my trip to Thailand a few years back and

about Cole Kaston's trip to Mexico even further back.

But first, a crazy story.

From my dear friend Ben Grant, a member of my sketch comedy troop, The State, and a writer,

actor responsible for Reno 911, Night at the Movies, and a ton of other things.

Here's Ben now with the story we call

When things go bump in the night. And the Thank you. So I asked my wife for permission to tell this story and she said yes and so I'm going to tell this story. There are

two things you need to know about this story before I tell it and one is that

my wife is Korean.

She came here when she was three.

And so she was, she's a valley girl.

She's like raised in the valley and that's what she's like.

Her parents are very, very traditional Korean.

Her mom speaks very little English.

When she sees me, she always says,

Ben, you look fine.
