So we are more than halfway through the year and I thought it would be a

good time to start looking back at some of the best music of 2024 so far. To do

that I'm going to have some of my Rolling Stone colleagues weigh in on their genres of choice.

And we're going to start today with Monka Percante, who made a great list of her favorite albums and songs of

2024 so far. So, Monkapur, basically we're just going to talk about the music you've loved

so far this year. There's some hip-hop, there's some Afro-pop, there's some R&B, there's some things that we've talked about on the pot

already this year and some things we haven't. A lot of things I heard and some things I missed, so I'm

really glad that you took the time to put this together for us.
