Hi, Katie.

We are coming to you in what I think we keep calling the Dead Week.

It's the week between Christmas and New Year's when, as far as I have heard, all Hollywood is just

on vacation.

So good for them, enjoy Hawaii.

And some of the rest of us are, you know,

spending time with our families, catching up on screeners.

So we're going to use this time to kind of look at the year as a whole.

Richard has published a top 10 on vanityfair.com

and we have all been kind of writing

and discussing various of our favorites of the year.

So we're going to start by talking about Richard's top 10,

then kind of get into some of our own personal picks,

which is going to include both film and television since, you know, the line gets bluer and bluer as things go on.

But Richard, yeah, does the start, let's just go through your top 10 list because I think

we've seen a lot of these films.

I think that's a pretty good start of saying what the best of the year was.
