Today's 10-minute walk starts right after this. A beautiful winter

morning in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Now I'm going to paint the picture

because you might think blue sky, sunshine, mild temperatures, nope.

Not even close.

It is cold, 38 degrees.

The sky is gray, not so much from clouds, but from fog.

It's not a thick fog, but it's not a thin fog either so i'm walking

next to one of the lakes near our neighborhood and it's a long lake not very wide but a long

lake as i look down towards the end of the lake it it's shrouded in the fog, there are some geese and some ducks swimming on the lake.

The wind is calm, the air is crisp, and it very much feels like winter because it now is.

It officially arrived yesterday.

Today is the first full day of winter.

So if you didn't buy into the meteorological start of winter on December 1st,

there's no way to escape it now.

You're in winter, unless you head to the southern hemisphere.
