Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

A dad sent me a text tonight saying,

I never imagined our six-year-old would kneel by my side as we prayed the rosary.

This was one of the greatest gifts I've received as a father. If I hadn't tried it,

I wouldn't have experienced it, and neither would he.

Blessed Pope Pius the 9th said,

Give me an army saying the Rosary and I will conquer the world. I say, give me an army of fathers and

grandfathers were willing to get down on their knees in front of their families and invite

them to pray the Rosary this Christmas season and we'll

conquer Kansas City and from there the world. So let's begin in the name of the

Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

And let's call the mind all those who've promised to pray for,

especially joining our rosaries to the thousands of others, praying for the 10,000 names that have been submitted for their deeper

conversion and for all of their earthly needs.

It is likely you are overwhelmed by the desire to make everything perfect for Christmas.

Or you live with a person like this, or you'll be interacting with someone like this. Now you may

admit being in the first category but more likely to think it's everyone else

who has this problem but the the reality is, we all suffer from the disordered desire for

control. The big book of AA describes it all too well. Any life run on self-will can hardly be a success. On that basis we are almost

always in collision with something or somebody even though our motives are good.

Most people try to live by self-propulsion.
