I'd happy Juneteenth to everybody who is listening,

and in honor of Juneteenth, I am open to answering or talking about any topics that relate to the culture.

So if you are listening and have questions about the

culture if you are a b. L on a d l which is our black listeners who listen to the birth show

on the down low which I've always thought is hilarious or if you just have questions from anywhere.

I've always taken like a tremendous amount of pride in looking at our audience and how

diverse it is but when we first started the show it was a little bit different

so we had black listeners that wouldn't tell any of their black friends that they were listening

to the Burke show because it was a predominantly white cast.

So I think they actually called themselves BLs on the DL and that's how it all started.

Back in the day and that's how it all started back in the day.

That's hilarious. So I solicited for questions online and I got a couple about

black cochre and some things that I spoke about in the past.

So these are from white listeners curious about the black community?

And she said years ago you mentioned that asking questions when you first meet someone could be

considered rude in the black community. This was an eye-opener for me. I don't think I'm

nosy or asking inappropriate questions but I do ask general getting to know
