Looking at the pleasures of God is looking at the echo of God's excellency in his own soul.

And when you look at that, 2 Corinthians 318 says you become like him.

It's a wonderful thing to become like God by beholding God.

Sometimes I wonder if the reason I sometimes feel stuck spiritually is because I'm trying to

do more instead of behold more.

I want to begin with the passage of scripture that the Lord impressed upon me, and I jotted it down on a piece of paper.

In fact, I've been carrying it around all day, and it's so ragged I can hardly read it anymore.

But it was Isaiah 40, verse 28.

Have you not known? Have you not not heard the Lord is the everlasting God the

creator of the ends of the earth he does not faint or grow weary his

understanding is unsearchable and the encouragement that gave to me in thinking of those two things about God,
