Well my wife ran track in college. She ran the 400 meters.

So if you don't know track and field, that is a real race. That's not a jog like it would be for me. It is a

sprint an all-out sprint but a few years ago she decided to kind of engage in a different type of running and she ran

her first half marathon. So she really went from 400 meters to 13.1 miles and she began training. She had a couple of people she

trained with a guy a young man from our church who was helping her with the

mileage and things like that. Well race day came She entered the Sugar Land, Texas Marathon.

And so Race Day came, she was all ready to go,

she had hydrated, she was just ready for this moment, and so it's go time.

It's go time for my wife, right?

And so the kids and I, we took her.

And we took her, it was still dark outside. We took her to the starting line. We're there. Their music is blaring, right? It's like a party at the starting line. People are dressed in real colorful clothes. There are some

different. There's some people there like with wild hats and wild outfits like

chicken outfits. You know, they're there. I don't know if they're there to

run the full thing like that, but they were there to start the race like that. It was a real chaotic scene going on.

The adrenaline was pumping, we're whistling, go, baby, you got this, you got this, right? I've spent the last 25 years of my life

Motivation is kind of my key. That's kind of my go-to.

So I'm like, baby, you got this, and you're a beast, babe, let's go.

Like, you know, all those things, well, the gun sounds.
