Well, my job today is to convince you to abandon all hope.

And you may say, Ben, that sounds like the exact opposite of what a preacher should do.

Are you sure you've chosen the right profession?

Well, we can debate my life choices later, but I still believe my task today is to

it stole for you the virtues of despair. I want you to experience the blessing of

hopelessness. That's the idea today. I want to champion the abandoning of

your optimism and I want to convince you to quit.

Why? Well we're in this series wrapping up a series called Call on Heaven where we've been talking about

what does it truly mean to be spiritual people not just say I want to be spiritual but but really walk with the spirit of God be godly people because we really know God and talk to God,

what would it look like to be a praying people,

a church that calls on heaven?

And I could give you all the benefits of prayer,

the stats, which there are many,

it reduces stress and improves sleep quality and

you'll live longer and things like that but we've been looking at but what will

really actually motivate you to do it to be at people who call on heaven

and when we began the series we talked
