You know, as a storyteller, a documentarian, a broadcaster, Night Drift for me is a chance

to take a day and really consider the unknown phenomena that experiences on my podcast, Euphamette,

so courageously and publicly grapple with.

It's a hall pass into unknown realms, with a specific mandate, to ponder on what we

can't understand and reflect on how it all feels to me, to contextualize elements of

the documentary series that is sometimes for sake of the story and art better left

on said.

And sometimes this stuff is so personal, and it's so refreshing to have time to remember

our own personal touch points that connect us to any one topic, and today, that is what

I had the opportunity to do with Sasquatch.

Tonight we're talking about Sasquatch, and the people who experience them.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, you know, we're talking about our strange mascot

here, but for indigenous cultures here, it's a being that's so much more, it's in relationship

with us and perhaps a higher power, a force untold, and the modern experiences are left

with near religious moments, fleeting, but profound, beautiful, frightening.
