We build the Scotland Outdoors podcast from a live programme we do for BBC Radio Scotland called Out of Doors.

And this week there was the old stock standard, the mystery bird.

Obviously, you can't do it without the mystery bird.

But I also went to look at a commemoration of a battle that frankly I'd never even heard of.

Morning, and you know, it's been a funny old week.

A couple of days ago I was sitting on Doors Beach just at the top end of Loch Ness,

with a guy called Steve Filtham,

who's lived there in a caravan for over 30 years.

He's a professional Loch Ness monster hunter.

And Steve's sitting there.

He's one of the most calm, contented, nice guys I've met in a long, long time.

And he was talking about this Osprey that was fishing off a bay which was maybe half a mile to the south
