| 0:31.0 | A new report from the Brennan Center for Justice finds that as of mid-January, |
| 0:35.8 | legislatures in 27 states are considering more than 250 bills with restrictive provisions |
| 0:41.8 | compared to 75 such bills a year ago, a tripling of proposals to restrict the vote. |
| 0:48.2 | The report also finds that there are at least 41 bills that would undermine the electoral process |
| 0:53.2 | by among other things giving partisan actors more influence and preventing citizens to initiate |
| 0:59.0 | or conduct post-election audits. |
