The prime time game is the Michigan State Game, which on paper at the beginning of the season,

you thought, OK, this is going to be something big. But then a funny thing happened along the way.

MSU loses their coach. And the team kind of goes into a tailspin at Howard. I mean, you've been a

player before it. For two weeks in a row now, they've had to lead in the fourth quarter.

And man, they simply found ways to lose. How do you and not you got Michigan coming in who

really doesn't care? They don't care if you lost your coach. OK, anything about you is going to

beat you. I guess, how do you mentally prepare yourself knowing that a lot of things that you've

done if your Spartans have been self-induced? I think part of that's part of showing, you know,

tape of the good things that you've done, right? And when you watch it, we talk about teams all

the time having to learn how to win close games, how to learn how to play with the lead.

This is a process. And yes, I noticed this is a different team or it's coached a little bit

differently than they were maybe at the beginning of the year. But they still have to go through the

process of getting over the hunt, understanding that when you're watching a game, if something

goes wrong, it's not a, oh, no, here we go again. And human nature says that that's what happens

when when something fluke happens that you haven't seen. It's like, oh, wow, here, here we are.

But you have to be able to try to push through those things. And if they're self-induced,

then it's it's comes down to making sure you're paying attention to details that you're understanding

the situation that you're being in. And you have to make sure that the right players on the field when

it comes time for that. If it becomes a mental lapse, if it's miss assignments, miss tackles,

something fluke happens, especially, and you've got to be able to address that. And when it's

self-induced, that can be that can be taken care of. You know, it's different when it's just physical,

right? The person across from you is just that much better than you. Right. And you weren't able to
