Literally, I think Evan sent me something in the middle of me doing my pod and I kind of glance at the phone and was like, whoa.

It's an article for Yahoo Sports came out, Ross DeLinger and Dan Wetzel. NCAA is investigating Michigan football for a legit rule violation related to dealing signals.

Long story short, it sounds as if Michigan were sending either staffers or people close to the program to games of their future opponents along with potential college football playoff

opponents to gather their signals to learn as much as they can about them, which is illegal to do according to the NCAA.

If you get something off of game tape and footage like that, that's fine, but you cannot send somebody to the actual game to gather the information.

Two of Michigan opponents this year told Yahoo Sports, they became aware that Michigan knew their play signs sign stealing does not violate the rules unless the team uses it in game, electronic equipment to relay the information to players on the field or amongst coaches. So we're still figuring this out, but it sounds like Michigan went

and this doesn't make any sense, but they basically were scouting the teams that they had earlier this year that they were playing. And I guess a few of the teams got together and said, yeah, these beat downs, it was almost like they knew our plays, they were calling out our plays. And then now they went to the NCAA and the big 10 and said, hey, Michigan's not doing something right here.

If you don't think it's a big deal, they're breaking news on ESPN middle of the day live on TV. So again, don't just do me a solid. Take your party radio stuff. Go tell your mom or your girlfriend to say anything to us. Yeah, guys not on our show sheet. This is not something this is breaking and ESPN believe me. It takes a lot for ESPN to break in and do anything to take away from the culture dear leader.

Yeah. And apparently, well, not apparently, the big 10 has let Michigan state in the future opponents know, hey, Michigan knows your stuff. You may want to change up all your information because they've been scouting you illegally allegedly. Okay. So, man, there's a lot to unpack here.

It kind of reminds me a lot of when the Patriots went through that when they set up the cameras in the stadium and they recorded teams practicing. And now it for me, Mike, I was telling David, I kind of now go back to some of the games like the Buckeye game.

It just seemed like man, they always had the right play called against Ohio State. And it was like, wow, well, now you wonder is that what happened. And then on the flip side, no one at Michigan had any idea that TCU was going to make the cause for ball playoffs, which is why they seem so ill prepared and just had to play a regular game and things went a lot differently.

I think where my mind goes immediately is a, this is why you make a deal with the NCAA and you don't piss them off further.

I still think this is very personal. They hate Harbaugh, they hate Michigan. Now, are you giving them reasons to come after you if you're cheating? Yes.

But there's no yelling and screaming for me. I mean, I always think there's some level of cheating. But certain things, it's like in baseball, players are allowed or in horse racing.

The athlete is allowed a certain level of performance enhancing drugs. And you accept it. It's part of the gray area. But when you cross those thresholds, it becomes cheating. It becomes punitive.
