So, you know, I think obviously there have been a lot of books written about the Trump presidency, but what I'm really fascinated by in your subject is that you are looking at

President Trump as we have that lens moving forward, sort of the history of everything that

we experienced over the Trump presidency, the four years of Trump presidency, and who and how

the positions are being set for the gop moving forward what what made you

want to focus on this part of the story david well you know what i tried to do within

trump shadow as you know is look forward take a look at how his his presidency impacted american

politics and in particular the republican party and what the next generation or the current

generation of Republican leaders could look like in a 2024 presidential primary based on that
